How fast now, time seems to slip away
As older I am growing, day by day.
Reflecting back now on my life
Remembering the joy, along with the strife.

Many days are sweet to recall
Others to my eyes, bring a tear
As I miss the ones, that touched my heart
To my life, they were so dear.
♥
The sunrise of my life, is fading away
Seems it was there, just yesterday
Almost sad it seems, so much has changed
As the sunset of life, has found me to claim.
♥
Yet in sunsets, awesome beauty is found
I pray, that due to my time spent on earth
Someone's life was touched in a beautiful way
Because GOD chose to give to me, A birthday.
