The Lord is my Shepard...
He is always there,
If we'll only trust Him...
He'll keep us in His care.

He said, "I'll never leave you"
But you must trust and obey.
I'll take care of you,
Everything will be okay.

Prayers are always answered...
The way He sees best.
It may well be...
He puts us to a test.

How strong is our faith...
Only God knows.
But with our actions,
It always shows.

We may cry and say, "I Love Him"
He is standing by me.
But what do we do for Him...
It's very easy to see.

I go to worship on Sunday...
I tithe as I can.
But do I really trust Him...
To put my life in His hands.

Oh God please forgive me...
For the sinner that I must be.
Without your tender mercy...
Hell's gates are open for me.

It was Jesus who died...
For my many sins.
And it is I...
Who depend on my friends.

So dear God if you'll forgive me...
As I know you will.
Take my heart...
And with your love - please fill.

Help me Lord to be grateful...
Humble and kind.
To serve in your honor...
The rest of my time.

And when my life is over...
Please Lord, take me home.
So in Eternity...
I'll never be alone.
