One teardrop
is a small amount
And two doesn't constitute
much more
But never discount a single
one
Just because the tears don't
pour.
Each teardrop is counted
carefully
Each one saved for a rainy
day
That's why the oceans are
salty
The rain has made it that
way.

Our tears have created
oceans
They've made the salty brine
So don't think one tear
means nothing
The Lord collects each one
He finds.

And when He's collected
quite a few
He'll open the skies above
That's when we'll see our
teardrops again
He's released them with so
much love.
Our teardrops will nourish
so many things
So be sure to let them flow
They'll fill the oceans and
quench the thirst
So that all he created can
grow.
