God fills my heart with sunshine each time I think of you
We’ve shared our dreams and sorrows through the years.
When skies are gray and stormy, I know just what to do,
I know you’ll share my laughter and my tears.



It doesn’t seem that long ago but I know that time has passed,
Even though it seems like only yesterday,
That we first met and then our souls connected very fast.
I’m so glad to have found you along my way.



I just wanted to tell you that I thank my God above
For the day that sunshine came and made me smile.
You brighten all those stormy days with your friendship & your love
So, please come and sit with me a while.



The windows are now lifted and the gentle breezes blow
As we share our hearts and then we laugh or cry.
If is wonderful to have someone that in your heart you know
Will always put the sunshine in your sky.
