Pow Wow

It's time for the Pow Wow so off we go,
Everyone's excited, we all love it so!

In their Regalia everyone is dressed.
And there is a contest to see who dances best!

Soon the Drum starts, Grand Entry is under way,
Into the Sacred Circle the Chiefs make their way.

Next comes the men, and women dancers too,
The Grass Dancers and children all dance for you.

Soon a Round Dance is called and we all venture in,
Into the Dance Circle, with no beginning or end.

The smell of cooked Buffalo and fry bread soon fill the air!
You better believe there's plenty of food there.

We dance, and we eat, and our laughter fills the night sky!
It's a wonderful time for my people and I.
