Soon we will celebrate –
A very special day of the year,
Filled with love and emotions –
Enhanced with joyful cheers.



Messages of love to send –
To the one so dear to our heart,
A kiss, a hug, and some flowers –
And perhaps an e-card for a start.

On Valentine’s Day we remember –
The love we hold so dear,
For someone who is very special –
Especially on this day of the year.



In the evening we’ll go to dinner –
And drink of a vintage wine,
Holding hands and enjoying –
The Valentine love with whom we dine.

Perhaps when the day is over –
In our prayers, as we unwind,
Think of the gift from the Master -
His love was the first Valentine!
