It’s not always easy...
so many thoughts in our minds,
racing like a whirlwind
so many answers to find.

Who do we turn to...?
to understand our demise?
The demands of life’s journey
can cause so much strife.

We can let it all overcome us
or subdue those thoughts in our minds,
just by giving it to Jesus
and just taking, one day at a time!

Perhaps we want to rush the outcome
of something’s we can’t control,
of unknown factors not considered
of the problems that seem to grow.

It is within our own power
to choose our destiny,
to either give ourselves to the Master
or wallow in our agony.

We can’t change what might happen
for it’s further down the line,
but we can give it to Jesus
by just taking it, one day at a time.

What can really be solved...?
by excessive worry and more,
for, when it’s time for our leaving
He will meet us at heavens door.

Life is to be lived to the fullest
in celebration, joy, and peace of mind,
to always look at the positives
and just take one day at a time.

No one escapes life’s sorrows
tragedies surmount us all,
some of which we can handle
while others need a longer haul.

If we put our trust in God
and put Him at the head of the line,
we will find it so much easier,
by taking life, just one day at a time!
