We can see and feel
His love surrounding us,
Forever present, and
touching our heart as it must.

Sheltered in His care
we feel so secure,
cuddled in His hands
and oh, so much more.

Embraced in a love
that will never end,
fed for one purpose
to all be a friend.

Not for what we get
rather what we give,
love to another
so their heart too, can live.

No one is greater
than the Master from above,
we are all but a servant
an extension of His love.

Each has a purpose
each gives a lift,
when we give to each other
our love as a gift.

Not to be selective
but reaching out to all,
for even a stranger
deserves to hear the call.

No one is perfect
we all succumb to error,
but it is overcame,
when to others we care.

We don’t want to be first
we’ll settle for last,
for the view from behind,
is the much greater task.

He is so ever close
right at our door,
But, even from a distance
our God we can adore!

Even from a distance
He is so very near,
and whispers so softly,
how much He really cares.

We must put into action
the words that he speaks,
for even from a distance
we can see Heaven’s peak!
