I took a walk with Jesus today
Along this beautiful shady pathway
Lined with rocks, flowers and trees
I felt His touch in the gentle breeze.

On this lovely pathway I feel blessed
As I stop for a few minutes to rest
To watch butterflies spread their wings
And listen to the birds sing.

There are many pathways we can take
So many choices we must make
What lies in our heart reflects the way
We walk along a pathway today.

I look at the pathway set before me
I know it will not always be straight
But with the Lord as my guide today
He will show me what pathway to take.
