Here in a world so full of people
It can seem we're far from home
Then God puts us together
So friendship we can know

In the love we have between us
To share in heartfelt prayer
Connected, one in spirit
In the knowledge someone cares

As we offer up our lives
To feel the comfort of His touch
In the sweet assurance
Of the victory He's won

So each moment we will know
All through a lonely night
The peace our Father gives
With faith of inner sight

Me pray on, for one another
To know we'll overcome
Conscious of God's arms around us
As He brings to us His love

I will never walk alone, He holds my hand.
He will guide each step I take, and if I fall,
I know He'll understand.
Ev'ry tear He wipes away and ev'ry heartache shares.

'Till the day He tells me why He loves me so,
I can feel His hand in mine,
