Her lovely colors beyond measure
Driving along she weaves a spell
And wears her beauty well.

Oh yes, October is God's painting
Her beauty is on display
He framed her in a sky of blue
As a gift for us today.
Beautiful October will soon be past
Her lovely colors will not last
Many trees dressed in crimson fire
Soon she must retire.
