Mine To Keep?



The things that are at hand, I truly do regret.
It all brings to mind, things hard to forget.



You say you've had enough and must say good-bye,
I hope you change your heart and stay by my side.

The tears we now shed, can all be wiped away.
The heartache we feel inside isn't there to stay.



The memories of good times, we can re-visit and share.
Truly believe and know those feelings are still there.

No one knows this heartache and we can never tell...
of the pain we brought to each other, when we knew all to well.



Love is a precious gift from God and Him alone.
I now pray for mercy to be sent from His throne.

For each night, I will pray before I go to sleep...
that God almighty will make you, mine to keep!



I promise a love and commitment like a story never told.
You, and our relationship is far more valuable than gold!!
