~ Mesmerized ~

White cotton wool clouds dance in the air,
Brilliant sunshine cascades everywhere,
Bare foot and happy on golden sand,
Walking together hand in hand.

Gorgeous blue skies that go on for miles,
Children's laughter and wonderful smiles.
The green, green grass, the leaves on the trees,
Flowers bending gently as they dance with the breeze.

The softness of snow as it lands on the ground,
The rush of the rain as it falls all around.
Birds in song flying from tree to tree,
The wondrous glory of the deepest blue sea.

These wonders surround us every day,
But we're always too busy and brush them away.
Today when you wake, take a moment or two,
And let all these wonders mesmerize you.

When you feel that life is pulling you down,
Just take a deep breath and a good look around.
Enjoy what you have, tie it all up with love,
Lift your eyes to the sky, and thank God above.

These lovely distractions are there every day,
To brighten our lives in His own special way.
