I have some little teddy bears
They sit around and grin
Sometimes you'd think that their alive
And wondering where I've been

I try so hard to make sure
I tell them where I'll be
Because their eyes show worry
For all they have is me

Sometimes we sit together
We snuggle and we rest
A very special bonding
We pass each and every test

I know they are not human
Yet I felt right from the start
Looking into their tiny eyes
One could feel a heart

We all have things we cherish
And who is there to say
That my teddy's do not matter
And they are just in the way

I would say this then to you
Perhaps you'd best beware
At any age they are so smart
My little teddy bears

They take your heart and rest your soul
Give you gentleness within
And when the world has let you down
They are forever friends

Sometimes when I've been very sad
And felt no one would care
I'd just retreat into my home
And snuggle with my teddy bear
