Perhaps ~ ~ ~

That was an angel
When deeply I had sighed
For when you need your angels
They are right there by your side

Perhaps ~ ~ ~

That was the word of God
Ringing in my ear
Telling me I'm not alone
Nothing should I fear

Perhaps ~ ~ ~

It is the Holy Spirit
Helping me to breathe
When things get overwhelming
He's there to intercede

Perhaps ~ ~ ~

That was my Jesus
None other tis the same
As I was crying all alone
I know He called my name

Perhaps ~ ~ ~

That Devil's lurking
He wants to be a part
Of everything I do or say
Controlling, once again,
my heart

Perhaps ~ ~ ~

That rainbow in the clouds
Is God's own sign to me
That He has got me covered
Jesus blood has set me free

Perhaps ~ ~ ~

That I will pray again
Humbly upon my knees
Taking all these burdens to
The cross and there to leave

Perhaps ~ ~ ~

That when this day is over
And moonbeams fill the sky
I'll rest in knowing I am His
And never question why
