We took our yearly trip in April,
To the spiritisup retreat....
So many friendly faces there,
With hugs, friends we did greet!

The ones that could make the trip,
Were blessed in many ways....
We missed the ones that couldn't come,
Hoping to meet them another day.

For there are oh, so many,
With whom we'd love to share a hug....
Those faces that we've never seen,
Give our heartstrings a gentle tug.

Some are going through trials,
Health issues they must face....
Keep them ever in your prayers,
On the path that they must take.

We saw our friends and fellow poets,
Who were able to make the trip....
Though we were all very tired this year,
It gave our hearts a wonderful lift.
    
We've all gone through some changes,
Since we saw each other last....
We shared our heartfelt wishes,
Uttered prayers for those who've passed.

So many friendly faces,
In the heart of Mena Arkansas....
How we dearly love each one,
Wishing we could bring them home.

Until we meet again, my friends....
God keep you in his care.
Many Thanks for the lovely time in Mena,
