My hope for you each morning
As you begin to wake:
A smile of purest joy
Will shine upon your face!
That blessings will rain down
Upon your heart and soul;
That ALL the things you need in life
Are yours to make you whole.
That hope and joy are yours, my friend,
But beyond all gifts like these,
I wish you to receive from HIM
God's Perfect, Loving Peace!
That in your life you will learn
To live and laugh to its fullest course,
So you'll have no regrets, my friend,
And look back in sad remorse!
Learn to dance like David
Before our Father God;
Each day filled with Thanksgiving,
A 'Dance of Praise' each step you trod!
Follow closely to the dreams
He has planted within your heart;
So, at your journey's end you'll say,
'My God, how great thou art!'
Stick firmly to the plans He's laid,
Walk in His Truth and Grace;
And when you enter heaven's gates,
You'll have a GLAD smile on your face!
