I was covered in stains
Of dark sins and disgrace.
I couldn't bear to look
My Christ in His face!

Oh, how I longed from
My sins to be free!
Then I heard Jesus say,
"My child, come unto me!"

Now, I am covered in
Stains of Crimson Red.
Covered in the Blood
That my Jesus shed!

Stains that I've worn
Since to Him I came.
Crimson stains of Pure love
Washed away ALL my shame!

Come to our Savior
Be cleansed today!
With the Stains of His Blood
He'll wash YOUR stains away!

Stand in the Light
Of His Love and Grace;
Joyfully gazing upon
His Precious Face!
