♥ ♥
The memories of my
childhood are filled with warmth and love,
A time of joy and pleasure, I recall.
A guiding eye watched over me and kept me in
her care,
The “footsteps of an angel” broke my fall.
♥
The footsteps of an angel walked always
by my side,
She gave me love and lots of strength to
grow.
She sacrificed so much, to make sure I had
it all,
An angel’s footsteps followed where I’d go.
♥
The footsteps of my angel walked softly
in the night,
Unselfishly she’d soothe a sick child’s
brow,
She’d walk and pray and comfort, exhausted
though she’d be,
She never failed to give to me her smile.
♥
The footsteps of my angel still comfort
me today.
She gave me the life of love on which I
stand.
She taught me of the Father and Holy
Spirit’s love.
She taught me it was He who held her hand.
♥
The footsteps of my angel have slowed a
slight bit now,
But still they follow everywhere I go,
She’s in my heart and guides me and she will
never go away,
She’s the best friend I’ll ever, ever know.
♥
God guard my angel’s footsteps. She’s
done her job so well.
She gives to me more love that I can hold.
My “Mama” is my angel whose footsteps
followed me,
She has a loving heart of purest gold.
♥
Thank you, Mom, for giving me all your
warmth and love,
You gave me so much joy that I recall.
A guiding eye that watched me and kept my in
your care,
Your angel footsteps brought me through it
all.
