When I was
a boy growing up
Dad would set me on his
knee,
He would take out that old
Bible
And to the family he would
read.

Pop would
always find a passage
That reflected the world
that day,
He’d read the scripture
and teach
And it would fit life in
every way.

He taught
us there is no problem
God didn’t tell about in
His book,
And every problem had an
answer
If we all just take the
time to look.

I thank the
Lord for my dear father
And for the lessons from
those times,
I’ve learned to always to
look to God
Where all the answers are
easy to find...
