Drifting in a sea of darkness
Always trying to find the shore,
Looking for that solid ground
Longing for comfort and more.
Sailing off in many directions
But peace you just cannot find,
Just call out His glorious name
He’ll take your hand every time.
He’s the one who walks on water
Who can calm the fiercest storm,
His light always leads you to land
When your sail is tattered and torn.
So just call on the name of Jesus
When you’re lost in a sea of despair,
His Lighthouse of love will find you
And your broken vessel He will repair…
