Somehow what once was so sacred,
In this country does no longer remain.
And in order to be politically correct,
In public let’s not speak of His Name.

A country founded on Godly principles,
Most of our laws inspired by His word.
But today some feel so very offended,
When in public the Lords name is heard.

I no longer see The Ten Commandments,
At the courthouse or even on the square.
God’s gone from the Pledge of Allegiance,
Even at schools they tried to stop prayer.

My prayer is that we all will stand united,
For the world the Lords message is a must.
He is the reason this country has flourished,
May we never forget why, In God We Trust…
