We gathered around the table
To have a Thanksgiving feast,
When my son had to mention
Hey Grandma forgot her teeth.



The family went in to a panic
As we started to scurry around,
Somebody check the potatoes
Them teeth have got to be found.



We all looked inside the turkey
And even in the cranberry sauce,
When we came to the conclusion
Them teeth are just good and lost,



That year we all learned a lesson
I hope you’ll never have to follow,
We’re a family that chews together
And all Grandma did was swallow…
