James 4:14
Whereas ye know not
what shall be on the
morrow.
For what is your
life?
It is even a vapor
that appeareth for a
little time,
then vanishes away.

If I knew that this
was to be my last
day on earth,
I believe I would go
to God in prayer
and pray as I have
never prayed before;
I would ask Him to
forgive my
trespasses,
and thank Him for my
many blessings,
before I walk
through deaths door,
I would thank Him
for my family, my
friends, my enemies,
And those that hate
me without a cause,
For without them I
would have known
nothing of life;
Over the years I
have learned that
God loves me,
With all my
blemishes, defects,
and flaws,

My faith in God
increased as I
overcame each
battle,
each conflict and
each strife,
But I can not leave
without telling
those I care about,
How much God and I
love them,
For you see, I am
going home to live
with Him;
He has promised me
eternal life.
Without God my soul
would have been
as a deep chasm, a
dark and dank void;
I would have been
lost,
He sacrificed His
only beloved Son
as atonement for our
sins,
they were washed
away at Calvary,
when He died upon
the cross,

Greater love hath no
man than this,
that a man lay down
his life for his
friends.
John 15:13
Our freedom came at
a surmountable
cost.,
I do not fear death
for I am ready to
go,
My earthly body will
be, in the twinkling
of an eye;
transformed into a
heavenly glow,
and when time is
ended those who
belong to Christ
will meet on that
glorious shore.

“Oh death where is
thy sting?
Oh grave, where is
thy victory?”
1 Cor. 15:54 and 55
King James
