We both knew for days and even weeks....
that on a short trip, you were to go.
The day you left, my heart began to break.

Sweetheart, I miss you ever so much....
And even though, it's only for a short time....
The tears are steady falling,
From these sad eyes of mine.

You'll forever be in this heart of mine....
No matter where you are, here or there.
Thoughts of you, forever fills my mind.

I know that this short journey,
Will benefit us in the long run.
For it will fill our days and nights,
with even more love and fun....
upon your return.

Stirring around the house.

As quiet as a mouse.
