You ask me where do friends come from
And all I know to say to you
They are such a special blessing
From God - I know tis true

If I could paint a rainbow
Just for you up in the sky
I'd paint one that would always be
Right there seen by your eye

In clouds I'd paint little pictures
That only you could see
The moon and stars would always
Play you tender melodies

I know that twas God sent you
When I was lost - alone
Suddenly there you were
I found you in a poem

For I had cried to God you see
And pleaded on bended knee
For just someone who would understand
I asked him kindly -- please
♥
Well, I woke up one morning
Checking email first of all
Then I read some poetry
Found yours - that 'said it all'

And so, I wrote a little note
To tell you it was 'grand'
Lo and behold - you answered me
Just as God had planned
♥
The rest, dear heart, is history
We email every day
Now I am never by myself
Your just one send away
