I heard a knock, I saw them place
A gift box out the front
I wonder where, from why
And I wonder who's the love

My fingers all aquiver
My heartbeat racing too
So eager what I'll find
Unwrapping love of you

I stumble with the tape
The scissors are my friend
I'm tearing at the paper
Whatever did she send

What would she there discover
Knowing I would love
Whatever did she choose
To send to me her hug

Oh dear, it's upside down
Ah, there I tip it out
Oh look, I open wide
And then I want to shout

She sent this perfect angel bear
From her most preciousness
Oh yes, within my heart
Is where 'twill fit the best

Oh look, I see the pretty frock
The wings so perfect soft
You know I love that creamy look
The love of you rubs off

Oh sweetest teddy fluff
Aaaw, such a little dear
A tiny teddy soft and sweet
To cuddle all the year

Her pretty smile for little kissy
No, it's a big big kiss from you
Oh sweets, I love you very much
My eyes are all wet through

Now li'l teddy sits right here
With angel hugs and more
To share your love for always
That's why she's sent for sure
