A cat has gentle eyes
That seem to see so much
Soft pink paws that touch us
With a quiet loving touch.

Their purr signals to us
Trust, and all is well
And showing more love
Than words can tell.

Such graceful movements
With so much pride
Brings a calming presence
To our side.

A cat becomes a friend
That will last and grow
It is no small wonder
We love our cat so.
