Oh yes, I know I am only human
Sometimes it is very hard for me
To be a wise all-knowing creature
My Siamese expects me to be.

The subtle implications of this noble breed
I know I really need to understand
At times I pray for help that I need
When he meows a command.

At times he surprises me
How he falls asleep so quickly
After he jumps upon my lap
Purring softly as he takes a nap.

While maintaining his dignity
My Siamese is a friend indeed
He is like no other cat, you see
He is truly a noble breed.
