I am only a kitten and will stay in my place
It may be your chair or bed near your face
Being small I can not eat very much
I like cream, tuna, chicken and such.

That is the way I like my day to begin
To sit on your bed and rub your chin
Or lie across your chest and purr
I am an alarm clock covered in fur.

Oh yes, one thing you should know
And we will get along just fine
I am only a little kitten
I am not yours, you are all mine.
