God gives us friends because we need
Companionship, love and cheer.
He knew we all need someone,
A friend that will always be near.

Friends from God are forever kind,
They will gladly take the time,
To study the bible and pray,
And enjoy the fellowship each day.


God knew that we would need courage,
To face the world come what may.
Friends stand close by our side,
When trouble comes our way.

All our friends God gives out of love,
Bonding spirits together like a glove.
I pray our friendship never ends,
And am thankful God gives us friends.
