Dad's love was a beacon
Spreading a very bright light
He was near to answer my call
If my dreams gave me a fright.

Dad had a big understanding heart
A source of strength from the start
To me Dad's love meant everything
So much happiness it did bring.

Dad's love for God was strong indeed
He had the faith to meet every need
Now he is at peace in heaven today
I still feel Dad's love in every way.
