A true friend will always be around
When we call out, they can be found
A lovely sunbeam to brighten our day
Lifting our spirit in a wonderful way.

A true friend is a beautiful angel
Only they do not have wings
They are a blessing in our lives
By doing many precious things.

A true friend will never let you down
Greets you with a smile, never a frown
Always walking with us on the long road
And sharing the burden of our heavy load.

I treasure a true friend more than I can say
I feel blessed by God each and every day
He wants only happiness for you and me
A true friend is God's special gift, you see.
