Deep in thought, I ponder,
Of life and all it's tests.
Then one thing comes to mind,
That God always knows best.

Deep in thought I wander,
Down pathways of my mind.
I think of all my many friends,
And how they are so kind.

Deep in thought I travel,
To the journey still ahead,
Knowing God will guide me,
And there's nothing I should dread.

Deep in thought, I think of you,
And what a friend you are,
God has been so good to me,
You're right here in my heart.

So if you're ever deep in thought,
I pray you think of me.
For I want to be the kind of friend,
That deep in thought, you'll see.
