Mothers day will be here soon.
Please come and take my hand.
We can pretend we're on the moon.
Or just walking in the sand...

I want you to be a child with me.
For your special day,
Lets play and let the whole world see.
You're so wonderful in every way.

I shall bring you flowers.
Fresh, from the fields and lands.
As we play for hours,
While holding each others hands.

We can run through, puddles of water.
After a fresh spring rain.
For I am your loving daughter.
And you shall feel no pain...

We can even watch the sunset.
As we search for rainbows galore.
Pretend that we just met.
And talk about love and more.

We can walk along the creek.
And build memories, for sure.
Soaking, our worn out feet.
From our childlike lil' tour...

Grab your flowers mother,
You need to get some rest!
Like you, there is no other.
As our day has been the best!
