All that we love is never lost
But will move into another sphere
One we may not see with earthly eyes
Yet, still forever near

So, do not think of them as gone
But merely passed along
This earth is but a facet
Of life where we belong

There is much more and never less
Of all that we will see
Where all will last forever
The eternal truth of you and me

This heartache that we bear for now
Is a gift for us to long for more
To make us want the permanence
Upon that other shore

And though we think our sadness
Is all that still remains
Even this is but a temporal state
For sadness too will drop away

Father, pour reality into our souls
Of all You are and give
Lift us to see beyond this time
To where our spirits truly live
