Be My Hug Bug

If I glow bright firefly flight
I can shine for you, my sparkling light,
If I flap out wide pretendy wings
I'd alight myself, to make you sing
If I whizzed real fast with a tricky twist
I'd zip your way, for it's you I miss
I wanna find my bugsy do
Can I bug on by, to special you

If I tried flippy beetle leaps
I might get to meet you on your street
But, I'd never inch on down to squirm
And wriggle my way, just like a worm
I could chirpy chirp my cheery calls
To send my secrets out the door
To have a chat with a friend like you
The best of hug-bugs ever true

I could be the busiest bee
And hum my way, so you I see
I think I'd reach with huggybug arms
To hold out wide, with open palms
So we can share some simple love
With lots of cute little buggy hugs
Aw, how I thank my Father true
For giving me a sweet lil huggy-bug you

Home is where the hugbugs are
A hugbug is the sweetest gift
Happiness is a surprise bughug
