He never considered the option
Of walking away from His fate
He went to the cross, knowing it was His own
As His life's blood, He willingly gave.
He could have called ten thousand angels
Saying: "Bring me down, I just don't want to die"
Yet He hung on the cross, Till His last breath He took
And He did this all for You and I.

Have you ever considered the option
Of where you'd be without Christ in your heart
Would you still be loving and care for your neighbor
Or would you have hate and un-forgiveness as each day starts?
Would you be willing to be kind to a stranger
Lend a hand to someone in need
Or would you find joy in turning away
From those who could be a good friend indeed?

When I consider the option of eternity
And I think of the price Jesus paid
I am humbled and I want to live for Him
I want to make up for mistakes I have made.
I want to walk in his awesome footprints
Let the whole world see that I'm not ashamed
And I will not reconsider my option
To rejoice and always praise His name!
