We give thanks for our
blessings
Letting the Lord know we care
Thanking Him for this bountiful feast
With family and friends, we will share.
Thanksgiving is special, that is true
But it shouldn't be any different than the
rest
For everyday we should be thankful
Because we have been truly blessed.
A roof over our head and food to eat
Laughter and smiles to adorn the day
Family and friends getting together
Being thankful we will convey.
