The fire in the fireplace is crackling
And the lights are flickering on the tree
I'm all snuggled up within your arms
Exactly where I want to be.

Soft music is playing in the background
Outside it's beginning to snow
But it's warm and cozy inside with you
As we sip on a glass of Merlot.

We reminisce of years gone by
The many Christmas' we have shared
But now it's just you and I
Do you know how much I care?

You pull me close and kiss me softly
And whisper in my ear
"Merry Christmas Sweetheart! I Love You!"
As my eyes begin to tear.

I whisper back, "I Love You Too!"
I gaze deeply into your eyes
You hold me gently in your arms
Our love we can't disguise.

May your Christmas be as lovely as ours
May you be blessed with family and friends
May the love of your life, share this night
And be with you until the end.
