As I walk tonight in this garden,
I can feel that you’re right here with me.
I want to tell you I love you,
And know that you’re listening to me.

Are you here right now? Can you see me?
Do you know how I got to this place?
Do you feel the warmth of my heartbeat,
As I feel it beginning to race?

Can you see my face in the moonlight?
How could you have been gone for so long?
I want to see your green eyes once again,
And know that I’m where I belong.

Please don’t go, wait a minute!
You only just got here, please stay.
I’m wondering why you aren’t speaking to me.
I feel you have something to say.

Please hold me once more in your strong arms.
I don’t want to forget when you go,
How wonderful it felt in this castle in my dreams,
When we stood here and felt our love grow.

Please tell me again that you love me.
And then I’ll let you go on your way.
But promise me, please, that you’ll come back to me,
And hold me again some sweet day.
