In the trees of endless forest
I found a clearing form
A true respite upon life's journey
A gentle beauty in it all

God looked down with tenderness
To draw us one by one
By name He called us on the pathway
To connect us in His love

A very precious you He brought
The one He had me find
He brought us to be together
In a friendship, yours and mine
