I remember well,
From the time we first met.
The times we had!
And a friendship deeply set.



From the parties and dinners,
That kept us going.
To the quiet times we had,
Our friendship ever showing.

Hardships, and painful secrets,
We shared with each other.
Broken hearts mended new,
Friendship is our cover.



To stand strongly together,
To comfort and soothe our pain.
This special feeling, that only
Thru friendship is gained.

So, to you I tip my hat, and
With a smile, greet you at the door.
Just so you know my friend,
That’s what friends are for.
