Where are all the stars tonight
They usually light up the sky
They chase away all my fears
But here I sit and sigh.

I'm waiting for the light to shine
To chase the darkness away
Bring brightness back into my world
Change the night back into day.

And clouds seem to cover the moon
The darkness creeps into every corner
The sun can't rise too soon.

Nighttime makes me feel so lonely
It makes my heart ache so
I want the moon and stars to shine

Lord scatter the stars across the sky
Blow all the clouds away
