Each day as I awake,
I give thanks to God above...
For all the blessings he sends my way,
From his unconditional love.

Friend, you are a special blessing,
One that I hold dear.
You allow God to work through you,
Never having thoughts of fear.

Your friendship is so rare and precious,
It couldn't be any better.....
With you as a friend, God in our hearts,
Life feels light as a feather.

My Spirit now is so free,
There's only happiness in it,
Hand in hand with God beside us,
Our joy just has no limit!
