Sometimes we run against the wind,
Struggling on our own...
When all we need to do my friend,
Is call upon God's throne.

He gives us all we'll ever need,
To face life's ups and downs...
Through His word and friends he sends,
He will take away our frowns.

I'm so grateful He sent me you,
God knows just what is best.
He always answers when we call,
Struggling against life's tests.

So, when you run against the wind,
Just stop, my friend, be still....
God will work it to your good,
Just trust in His great WILL!
